My lastest paper: The MUPPLE competence continuum (co-authored by Fridolin Wild, Marco Kalz, Markus Specht and Margit Hofer) was presented by Fridolin and Marco at the 2nd Workshop on Mash-up Personal Learning Environments organised within EC-TEL 2009. In the paper we present a draft framework for studying the competences required for and developed by Mash-up PLEs. We also investigate the relationship between the competences needed to build and maintain digital parts of PLEs and concepts of digital and media literacy. Our findings are based on a qualitative study – data was collected in a series of interviews with representative people from the target groups: facilitators, learning designers, learners, and researchers.
